It takes a leap of faith for me to begin a blog that will display my life and inner thougths so publicly.

This morning I was reading my bible and thought I really need to journal more. When I do journal, I start to write down my thoughts in one place and then another. I like to be organized. So a thought popped in my head, “hey blog your thoughts.” This is where faith comes in for me because as much as I would love to write eloquently I struggle with my writing skills and creativity. The bigger leap of faith is being honest so openly about my walk on the path of being a Christ follower.

As I was reading the bible I stumbled (God works in awesome ways) upon a devotional regarding taking baby steps. The author talked about God using us in the smallest ways even when it is hard to build something bigger for Him. I believe God will use my blogging to bring my relationship with my Savior deeper and make me more accountable because I am opening myself up so vulnerablly to those who know me and those who do not.

The last statement of the devotional made me realize I needed to go forth with blogging my journey into a deeper relationship with Christ. She said “following Him is key” and with that I begin.

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.
